This beginner-friendly class is designed for anyone interested in exploring the art of handmade cardmaking. Participants will learn the foundational skills needed to create beautiful, personalized cards, including how to choose the right paper, ink, and adhesives, as well as understanding standard card sizes and how to cut materials properly.
The class will also introduce the essential tools every cardmaker needs, with guidance on how to use them effectively. Emphasis will be placed on starting out with affordable tools and materials without breaking the bank, making this hobby accessible to all.
In addition, participants will gain a basic understanding of design principles to help bring their creative ideas to life. By the end of the workshop, everyone will have the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned by creating three handmade cards.

In the classroom, you will have access to everything needed for the workshop. Just bring your smile ;-)
Optional: Wet adhesive (Nuvo or Barely Glue), dimensional foam adhesive, acrylic blocks and or stamping platform (e.g. MISTI), paper trimmer, Pinkfresh inkcubes, blending brushes, scoreboard, bone folder, water spritzer bottle if you some at home, it would cut on the waiting time.
