Shipping policy

  • Scrap en masse sells and ships exclusively in Canada. Orders to be shipped to other countries will not be accepted. 
  • All deliveries are done through Canada Post. For more information on Canada Post shipping guidelines, practices and policies, please refer to their website at www.canadapost.ca.  Exception: Other shipping arrangements can be made by agreement between purchaser and vendor. When Canada Post is not available (ex: on strike), we use Purolator or UPS.
  • For the most part, shipping costs are on a flat rate basis and are based on your province or Territory of residence. discounts apply for orders $150. +. See our FAQ section for more information. Scrap en masse reserves the right to charge additional fees for remote areas where shipping costs are more than the average costs or if a heavy or large product is unusually costly to ship. However, you will not be charged additionnal fees without first being contacted. We will aim at a fair cost sharring on those additionnal fees. 
  • The staff at Scrap en masse aims to ship your order within 48 hours (excluding weekends and statutory holidays). All orders are carefully reviewed to limit errors. They are carefully packaged and covered by a $100 insurance for damages or loss during shipping.  Scrap en masse is not responsible for packages lost, sent to the wrong address by Canada Post or for the shipping costs of unclaimed packages that have to be returned to us by Canada Post. 
  • Should you select the in-store , the staff at Scrap en masse will do everything possible to get your order ready promptly. Orders are normally ready within 4 hours. We recommend that you call before pick-up or wait for a notification on our part indicating that your order is ready.
  • Clients can select to HOLD, which directs us to Hold your order to combine with past or futur orders to save on shipping fees. We hold for a maximum of 30 days from the date of the first order. Once you are ready to have your orders shipped, please notify us at info@scrapenmasse.com. Upon receiving your e-mail or if the 30 days have past, you will receive a bill for the applicable shipping fees based on province or country of residence. If your combine orders are more than $150 before taxes, we will apply the discounted shipping fees. However, when shipping fees are not paid within 7 days past the maximum 30 day period, clients loose their right to the reduced shipping fees as well as the standard shipping fees. They will then be charged the actual cost of shipping their combined orders. This is to avoid abuse of the service.
