We will be making cards with Tracy Evans New Beginnings release, with a focus on the mouse stencil and the Quirky Birds stamp, New Beginnings and Alpine Plant stamp sets. We will make four cards plus a bonus card with a chance to play with new products, if time permits. Participants will learn colouring techniques using coloured pencils, masking techniques as well as learning about composition, design and how to use element/mark making stamps to enhance designs. 😉
Bring your own lunch or order from the restaurant. (30 minutes lunch break)
Supplies included in the workshop:
Will include products such as cardstocks and wet medium like inks and paints to complete the project. Various stamps set from Tracy Evans' new release will be available to use in class.
Supplies to bring:
Adhesive (liquid or tape runner) and foam adhesive for adding dimension. fussing cutting scissors, embossing ink, clear embossing powder; Versafine Clair in Nocturne and Morning Mist OR Archival ink in black and gray; Black fine line marker Water brush; Black Alcohol marker or Black acrylic marker; Fine mist spray bottle; acrylic stamping block(s); craft mat.
Optional:
Colored pencils including white, yellow, orange and three tones of green and three tones of your favourite flower color (light, med, dark); Distress or Dye Inks in light blue, yellow and pink; Watercolor markers; Heat gun; Distress inks in favourite colours; Versafine Clair Ink (Morning Mist, Rain Forest); stamp shammy Blending brushes; Stamping Platform. If you have rub-ons with butterflies and stitches in your crafty stash, bring them along. If you don’t have them, don’t worry, other options will be provided.
